NA ratifies bill to repeal Removal from Service Ordinance

National Assembly unanimously ratified a bill to scrap Musharrafs era Removal from Service Ordinance 2000.However, the Assembly rejected the motion regarding action and dismissal of those civil servants having dual citizenship.PPP's member Yasmeen Rehman moved the bill in the National Assembly.The members, while expressing their views on the bill termed the ordinance as a black law, saying that human rights violation was being done under it besides people were dismissed from jobs owing to political vendetta.
