NA ratifies resolution against spurious drug dealers
The national assembly has unanimously ratified a resolution on Tuesday regarding action against those selling spurious drugs, while the Deputy Speakers expressed displeasure over absence of Federal Minister for Water and Power from todays session.Federal Minster for Water and Power Raja Parves Ashraf was not present when the session began.On this, Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi has said that the National Assembly should be informed in anticipation in case any minister wanted to stay absent enabling the assembly to change the agenda of the session. PML-Q member Riaz Pirzada has said that fake drugs were being made in homes, and added that no action had been taken even after pointation.He alleged that huge corruption had been reported in the ministry of health while the fake drug producers worked with the connivance of the government.Pirzada wondered that what would happen if the life saving medicines were made fake.
