Pakistan suffered $35bn in war against terrorism, Gilani tells US Senators
Chairman of the US Senate Armed Services Committee Carl Levin, along with a delegation on Monday called on Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani in Islamabad.Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that world community should fulfill its promises to help Pakistan in war against terrorism. During the meeting, the PM said that Pakistan suffered losses of more than $35 billion in war against terrorism. PM Gilani said that Pakistani goods should be provided access into American markets. Both of the sides discussed matters of mutual interest. US Ambassador in Pakistan N.W. Peterson was also present in the meeting.
