Funeral prayers of Peshawar blast victims offered
Law and order situation in northern areas is going from bad to worse with the passage of time.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) Funeral prayers of 18 persons belong to the same family was offered in Peshawar on Sunday night in which a large number of area people participated and prayed for uplift of departed souls and patients for their heirs and relatives.
Everybody in the area was mourning at the heartrending scene of funeral of victims.
Last day, 18 men of the same family hailing from Matta Mughal Khail, a village in the suburb of Shabqadar, fell victims to bomb blast erupted in a car parked near historical market Qissa Khawani bazaar. Flocks of people belong to neighboring villages were coming to visit the bereaved families in order to sympathize with them at irreparable loss of their beloved ones.
Senior provincial minister Sikandar Shair Pao also visited the Shab Qadar and met with mournful family.
Later, talking to the media, he said that it is dire need of hour that a comprehensive and planned strategy should be adopted in order to exterminate terrorism from the country.
If the government and law enforcing agencies show more negligence and delay in this regard, the country would have to face more loss at the hands of terrorists who have nothing to do with the killings of innocent people; rather their mission is to collect wealth for their vested interests.
Throwing light on the burial of a living person, he said that it is criminal negligence of doctors and he would raise the issue in the session of provincial assembly.
