'Unannounced operation against ANP launched in Karachi'
ANP leader Bashir Jaan has said that police have launched an unannounced operation against ANP.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Speaking to media on Wednesday night, Awami National Party (ANP) leader Bashir Jaan said that ANP Malir District president Saeed Afghan, general secretary Ahsan Khan and hundreds of aother workers have been arrested.
He said that on the one hand the crackdown against ANP was launched on the instruction of Sindh government while on the other hand PPP leader Sharjeel Memon is expressing ignorance about the unannounced operation against ANP.
He further informed that the party leadership has been informed about the arrest of its leaders and workers and party strategy will be announced today.
