Local holiday in 6 Sindh districts on Aug 22
Sindh Chief Secretary has issued directions to deputy commissions of six districts in this regard.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A notification of local holiday has been issued by the Sindh Chief Secretary Ijaz Chaudhry.
According to the notification, there would be a local holiday on the occasion of by-elections on August 22 in six districts of Sindh province.
The local holiday would be observed in three districts of Karachi including East, West and Central and three other districts of Sindh including Thatta, Shikarpur and Mirpur Khas.
The deputy commissioners of the said districts have been directed to implement the orders to facilitate the voters.
Polls would be held on one National Assembly and three Sindh Assembly seats on Thursday.
