Gunmen shot dead a police Sub Inspector in Sohrab Goth area.
KARACHI: Business activity and transport has resumed in Karachi and Hyderabad following the MQM day of mourning.
Meanwhile, Gunmen shot dead a police Sub Inspector in Sohrab Goth area.
Police said four accused gunned down Sub Inspector, identified as Adnan and managed to flee. Police have started further investigation.
Earlier, the MQM had called for three days of mourning following the killing of MPA Sajid Qureshi and his son. The funereal prayers for Qureshi and his son were held at the Jinnah Ground and they were laid to rest at the Yaseenabad Graveyard.
Qureshi and his son were gunned down in the North Nazimabad area of the city on Friday. Armed men opened fire on Qureshi’s cars when he was returning home after Friday prayers with his son.
