PS-128 re-polling: Voting underway at six polling stations in Malir
Police and Rangers have been deployed on polling station for keen surveillance.
KARACHI (Dunya News):-Re-polling at six polling stations of PS-128-Karachi-XL began this morning and will continue till 5 p.m. without any break.
Strict security measures have been taken to avoid any untoward situation during polls.
MQM candidate Waqar Hussain and Deeni Muttahida Mahaz Orangzeb Alamgir are competing each other while Awami National Party (ANP) and Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) have boycotted the election.
According to Election Commission, more than 9000 voters would use their right of vote.
District Returning Officer Malir Muhammad Yamin is of the view that he is hopeful that law and order situation would remain sound and stable, calm and cool during polling as Rangers and police have been deployed on main sites.
