Heat wave grips most parts of country

Met Office forecast hot and dry weather in most parts of the country during next 24 hours.
ISLAMABAD (Online) - There are chances of dust and thunderstorm with rain at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ Rawalpindi and Gujnarawala Divisions‚ Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
As soon as the day started, the temperature soared to 38 degrees in Multan and Faisalabad while 37 degrees in Lahore. In some parts, temperature rose to 42 degrees, making it tough for the citizens to carry out their daily chores.
Met office has predicted hot weather for the next few days in southern Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.
The local met office in Multan has forecast hot and dry weather with chances of dust-raising winds for the city and its suburbs.
The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 43.1 degrees celsius and 28.3 degrees centigrade in the city respectively.
