7 killed, several injured in Peshawar suicide blast
A blast on Jail Road Peshawar near Sessions Court has taken 6 lives, while above 40 people have been injured. According to our correspondent, the blast occurred when the explosive material placed in a rickshaw at the parking of Sessions Court blew up. The blast of the sound was so deafening that it could be heard till far. A number of cars caught fire as a result of the blast. Police and law enforcing agencies have surrounded the area after the blast. Relief activities have begun, and the injured are being taken to Lady Reading Hospital. A lot of injured are told to be in critical condition, and increase in death toll is expected.
