Farooq Sattar terms Imran's allegations as irresponsible, rejects re-polling in NA 250.

Karachi (Dunya News) - The Muttahida Qaumi Movemenet (MQM) Coordination Committee has rejected Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s allegation against Altaf Hussain.

Addressing a press conference here at Nine Zero on Sunday, MQM leader Farooq Sattar condemned Zahra Shahid’s murder and demanded the early arrest of culprits.

He announced that MQM would stage protests against the baseless allegations levelled against MQM chief Altaf Hussain by Imran Khan, adding these protests would be peaceful.

The MQM leader said that they will now be filing a civil and criminal defamation suit against Imran Khan. He urged all the political parties to avoid issuing such statements and to work jointly for the uplift of the country. Farooq warned that such statement can hit Karachi’s law and order situation.

Imran Khan had blamed the Muttahida Qaumi Movement for the killing of the senior vice-president of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf’s Sindh chapter, Zahra Shahid Hussain, who was killed outside her DHA Phase IV residence on Saturday.

On the other hand, supporters of Altaf Hussain staged a sit-in in Karachi s Aisha Manzil area on Sunday whereas the MQM took out a rally in Hyderabad city against remarks made by Imran Khan against MQM chief.
