Re-polling in 43 polling stations at NA-250 today
Following the approval of ECP, re-polling in 43 polling stations of NA-250 will be held today.
KARACHI (Online): Re-polling at 43 polling stations of NA-250 will be held today (Sunday) following the approval of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Sources said that security strategy has been finalized to maintain law and order during the polling and as many as 3,500 personnel will perform their duties.
40 polling stations will be set up in South zone and the rest in East zone. Approximately 22 police personnel backed by 8 to 10 Rangers and 6 to 8 army personnel will be deployed at each of the polling stations of NA-250 constituency, sources added.
Round about 2,300 police personnel along with Rangers and army will be deployed in South zone while other 275 police personnel backed by 100 Rangers and army personnel will be deployed in East zone.
Quick response force of army and rangers will also be deployed to tackle untoward situation during the polls.
