Election postponed in NA-38
ECP has postponed election in NA-38 due to deteriorating security situation in Kurram Agency.
KURRAM AGENCY (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced postponement of elections in NA-38 due to deteriorating security situation.
According to ECP, the political agent in the area had requested the Election Commission of Pakistan to postpone election in the constituency due to deteriorating law and order situation. Accepting the request, the ECP has postponed polls in NA-38.
Political administration is of the view that polling in the constituency was not possible due to ongoing military operation in some parts of Kurram Agency.
