There is no militant wing in MQM: Altaf
Altaf Hussain says there is no need of receiving patriotism certificate from opponents of Pakistan.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Addressing a gathering of elderly people on telephone, MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that that leader of a political party came here and said that other political parties had militant wings in Karachi.
Altaf termed this statement strange and said that if the militant wings were in Karachi then why the bullets were fired everyday in Punjab.
He said that MQM did not need any certificate of patriotism from opponents of Pakistan and slaves of the British imperialism.
Altaf said that the MQM would expropriate lands and palaces in Raiwind and would establish schools, colleges and health centres there.
He said MQM made immeasurable sacrifices for of Pakistan.
He said that some people wanted to impose extremism in the country and pro-Taliban leader wanted to become ‘Ameer-ul momineen’.
Altaf said MQM had never been among those who declare each other infidel.
The MQM chief said that the elderly people always supported MQM in difficult times and expressed the hope that their determination would also remain intact in future.
