FC relocation: PHC orders to arrest federal, deputy interior secretaries
The high court bench had directed the secretaries to provide specific details in the case.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday issued orders to arrest federal, additional and deputy secretaries in a case pertaining to return of Frontier Constabulary platoons to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A two-member bench was hearing a petition filed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, which sought issuance of order for the return of FC platoons from Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Karachi.
During case proceeding, the court expressed resentment over absence of the secretaries.
The court also ordered the authorities to stop salaries of the secretaries as well.
