Raja Pervez's intra-court appeal rejected
IHC rejected ex-PM’s appeal against cancellation of contracts regarding road construction.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News):- Islamabad High Court bench comprising Anwer Kasi and Noorul Haq Qureshi conducted hearing of the intra-court appeal.
While giving his arguments, ex-prime minster Raja Ashraf’s lawyer Wasim Sajjad said that the Supreme Court has cancelled the contract of two roads worth Rs 5 billion in Gojar Khan without hearing the stance of Raja Ashraf.
The learned counsel furthering his statement said that the tender of the contract has not been released till this time; so the matter should not be referred to the NAB and the Election Commission.
The divisional bench while declaring the contract against Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules had rejected the intra-court appeal.
