Nine militants killed in Operation Rah-e-Nijaat

At least 9 militants were killed during last 24 hours in Operation Rah-e-Nijaat in South Waziristan, Dunya News reported on Monday. In Jandola Sararoga sector, security forces have secured Zindanarai and Baroranarai areas. According to ISPR, heavy arms and artillery were recovered during the clearance operation in Zindanarai and Baroranarai areas in Jandola Sararoga sector. In Shakai Kanigaram sector, security forces fired rockets in Asmaan Manza. One militant was killed while 2 soldiers were injured in a clash in Karaam. In Rizmak Makeen sector, security forces cleared Golden Top of militants in west of Pish Zayarat while position has been strengthened around Lakhi Ghund and Bunker Ruj. Eight militants were killed in this area. According to ISPR, security forces arrested four militants in Swat during Operation Rah-e-Rast while five others surrendered themselves to the security forces. Meanwhile, Afghan militant commander Abdul Wali was arrested in Mohmend Agency. On the other hand, at least 10 militants were killed and 8 others sustained injuries in clashes with the security forces in Shahukhel area of Hangu.
