PPP intra-party elections challenged in ECP
The applicants have made Farooq H Naik as respondent in their application.
ISLAMABAD (Online) - PPP intra-party elections have been challenged in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
The applicants senator Safdar Abbasi and Nasir Ali Shah have made Farooq H Naik as respondent in their application.
They have taken the plea that PPP held intra-party election in order to complete the formality while elections were based on sheer malafide intent and doctrine of give and take.
The PPP members said that nothing had been informed either about voters list nor about election schedule ahead of party election. They requested the ECP to declare these elections null and void besides ordering for fresh intra-party elections.
