Only democracy suits Pakistan: PM

The PM says the PPP led government believes in serving the masses without any discrimination.

 

BRADFORD: Addressing Pakistani community here on Sunday Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf said Pakistan and Britain are enjoying good relations and his visit will further strengthen these relations.


He said the present governments in both the countries have expanded these relations and further strengthened them.

 

He said British Prime Minister David Cameron has played an important role in gaining access for Pakistani products to the European markets.


He said Britain is also playing a pro-active role on Afghanistan issue.


Raja Pervez Ashraf said Pakistan is the largest recipient of British assistance in the fields of education and health.


The PM said he will begin his official engagements on Monday and all aspects of bilateral relations will be discussed with the British leadership.


He said a large number of Pakistanis are living in Britain. He said we are proud that overseas Pakistanis have deep love for their homeland.

 

The Prime Minister said democracy is the best form of government as people elect their representatives in this system.
