Govt pursuing reconciliation policy: Kaira
The Information Minister says the government made every effort to end unemployment from the country.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that credit goes to the PPP Government for changing political culture by promoting tolerance and accommodation in the country.
Speaking at Sheikhupura Press Club on Friday he said the politics of revenge and victimization made lives of those in the opposition difficult but the present Government pursued policy of reconciliation in line with the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and Charter of Democracy.
He said there was no restriction on journalists‚ newspapers or television channels. He said the present government has demonstrated such a higher level of tolerance that it has become a big question whether any future government would tolerate the level of media criticism with same spirit.
The Minister said the government has made every effort to end unemployment and provided jobs to thousands of youth.
