Bad weather disrupts PIA flights schedule
The schedule of PIAs domestic and international flights has been disrupted due to bad weather.
ISLAMABAD: The heavy rains across the country have badly affected the flights schedule of PIA.
PIA’s flights that affected due to bad weather include: PK 300 Karachi-Islamabad that diverted to Lahore, PK 308 Karachi-Islamabad that will make departure at 7: 00pm with a three hours delay and PK 306 Karachi -Lahore will also leave with a three hours delay at 9:00pm.
Meanwhile, PK 309 Islamabad-Karachi that was scheduled to depart at 9pm will now take off at 10:30 while PK 341 Faisalabad-Multan delayed for 8 hours and will depart at 5pm.
The international flights that disrupted due to bad weather include: PK-211 Islamabad-Dubai will depart at 4:40 with a five hours delay, PK 711 Islamabad-Birmingham that was scheduled to depart at 9am will now depart at 3pm.
PK 721 Karachi-Lahore-Manchester will depart with a delay of 15 hours while PK 729 Karachi-Ryadhm has also been delayed and will depart 9 hours late.
According to PIA spokesman, the passengers should contact the authorities concerned to get flight confirmation before leaving their homes. He said that PIA staff is present at airports to facilitate the passengers.
