Years first polio case in Karachi confirmed
The child belongs to Bin Qasim Town union council near Kachi Abadi Railway Colony.
KARACHI: The national health authorities on Friday confirmed polio virus in a two-year-old child living Bin Qasim Town in Karachi, Dunya News reported.
It is believed that the boy, Musharraf, son of Usman, had missed all the routine and supplementary vaccines against polio because his parents’s reluctance.
After the latest polio case, the health authorities have decided to re-launch anti-polio campaign in the affected area.
