AG denies to attend judicial commission meeting
Attorney General Irfan Qadirc has refused to attend the meeting of the judicial commission
ISLAMABAD: Irfan Qadir said that Judicial Commission is not complete without inclusion of a member from the Bar Council.
Talking to media, Qadir said he had written a letter to Dr Faqir Hussain, secretary of the commission, in which he had excused from attending the tomorrow’s meeting of the commission. “It is meaningless to attend the meeting of an incomplete commission,” he asserted.
It may be mentioned bar council has refused to nominate its member on the commission until its recommendations are approved. The council has demanded that every member should have the right to nominate a judge.
