Ex-chairman OGRA nabbed from Abu Dhubai with Interpol help
Former chairman of the OGRA Tauqeer Sadiq has been arrested from Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
ABU DHABI:-According to NAB officials, the main character of Ogra corruption scandal Tauqeer Sadiq has been arrested by the help of Interpol.
At present, the accused is in the custody of Interpol and would be handed over to Pakistani authorities tomorrow on Thursday.
The NAB’s team would leave for Abu Dhabi tomorrow in order to fetch the accused here in Pakistan for further interrogation.
Ogra’s former chairman has been arrested on the order of the Supreme Court. He is accused of causing damage to national exchequer worth Rs 80 billion.
