APHC lauds Qazi’s services for Kashmir cause

The APHC’s AJK chapter has lauded the services of Qazi Hussain Ahmad for Kashmir cause.

 

ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Hurriyet Conference AJK chapter while eulogising the sacrifices of the former Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Qazi Hussain Ahmad has paid glowing tributes to the deceased Amir who passed away here on Saturday night.


According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC AJK chapter in its meeting, which was presided over by its Convener, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar in Islamabad observed that Qazi Hussain Ahmad’s life was a beacon of light for the Kashmiri leadership.


The Hurriyet leaders on the occasion said that Pakistani nation had been deprived of a great leader and the Kashmiris of their mentor. The meeting expressed condolences with the bereaved family members of the former Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan.

 

Those who attended the meeting included, Syed Yousuf Naseem, Mir Tahir Masood, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Manzoor-ul-Haq Butt, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Nisar Mirza, Altaf Hussain Wani, Abdul Majeed Malik, Abdul Hameed Lone, Muzaffar Hussain Shah, Tufail Ahmad Butt, Khadim Hussain, Daud Khan Yousufzai and Abdullah Gilani.

 

Meanwhile, In occupied Kashmir, pro-freedom leaders have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Qazi Hussain Ahmad.

 

Senior APHC leader, Bilal Gani Lone and other Hurriyet leaders including, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Zafar Akbar Butt, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Yasmeen Raja and Muhammad Yousuf Naqash in their separate statements said that Qazi Hussain Ahmad was a great champion of the Kashmir cause. They said that the late leader always raised his voice for the cause of the Kashmiris.


Moreovere, the Dal Khalsa Spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh expressing his condolences over Qazi Hussain Ahmad’s death said that he was a friend of Sikhs and supported the Sikhs’ right to self-determination wholeheartedly.


He said Qazi Sahib was one of the most prominent religious personalities in Pakistan having deep ideological leanings. "I know him personally, he was simple, sober but a determined person. He had very cordial rapport with struggling Sikh leadership".
