Torkham border reopened

Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan has assured to investigate the issue of torture on Pakistani drivers.
ISLAMABAD: Mohammad Umar Daudzai has also promised that stern action would be taken against the accused involved in heinous crimes.
As per details, Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammad Umar Daudzai called on Special Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alamgir Babar in Islamabad on Saturday and discussed the recent incidents in which Pakistanis were mercilessly beaten when they were returning from Kabul.
The ambassador assured that such incidents would not recur. The Afghan Ambassador also raised the incident involving Afghan nationals in Landi Kotal.
Pakistan also agreed to reopen the Pakistan-Afghanistan border that was closed since Friday. Ministry of Interior has issued instructions in this regard.
