CJ Chaudhary separates himself from Dogar case hearing

Following objections by former Attorney General Latif Khan Khosa and former chief justice Abdul Hamid Dogar, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has separated himself from the bench that will hear the unconditional apology and contempt of court cases of PCO judges, including Dogar and Khosa, reported Dunya News. The chief justice has formed a five member bench, headed by most senior SC Judge Justice Khalilur Rehman Ramday and comprising Justice Nasirul Mulk, Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed, Justice S Khawaja and Ghulam Rabbani. The bench will now hear the contempt of court notice from November 2. Talking to Dunya News former judge justice Wajihuddin said that he had already told that Khosa and his party didnt want unbiased and neutral judges to hear the petition.
