General elections to be held on time: Shujaat
Chaudhry Shujaat says the general elections will be held on time.
KOTRI: Talking to party leaders here on Wednesday, PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that as general polls were drawing nearer, political parties were flexing muscles to make all out efforts for active participation in elections.
He said that some elements to create panic and confusion among the masses were talking about setting up of interim set up for two to three years, but they should realize the fact that democratic elected government would complete its tenure and general elections would be held in time.
Shujaat ruled out any misunderstanding with ruling PPP and said that both parties have complete trust in each other’s leaderships and the alliance would continue during upcoming polls.
He further added that ups and downs in politics of country would continue till the general polls were not held.
