Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that Turkey and Pakistan stand together against terrorism and militancy while Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan maintained terrorism had no religion or country, Dunya News Sunday reported. Both the countries have singed Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation. Addressing a press conference with his Turkish counterpart PM Gilani revealed that Pakistan would strengthen its strategic relations with Turkey. Joint strategy to counter terrorism will also be devised, he added. Pakistan and Turkey have no difference over eliminating terrorism. Leaders of both the countries will meet every year and bilateral trade will be increased to $2 billion, PM Gilani told. Turkish PM, on this occasion, vowed to stand by Pakistan on political issues internationally. He stressed the need of intelligence sharing between the two countries. Turkish PM said that Turkey and Pakistan would stand by each other to eliminate terrorism. Pakistan is undergoing a tough period and we hope it will get through it. Relations between us will improve in the future, Turkish PM asserted.
