Abbottabad Commission to submit report this month

The commission will hold a meeting next week.
LAHORE: The judicial commission – investigating the events surrounding Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden’s killing during May 2, 2011 raid conducted by US Navy SEALs in Abbottabad – finalised its 700-page report on Friday, Dunya News reported.
The commission will submit the report to the government this month.
As per details, the report has been compiled in the light of 300 witnesses. Also, 3,000 documents have been made part of the report, in which, statements of high civil, military officials and bin Laden’s family members were included.
In a statement, Osama bin Laden’s presence in Abbottabad compound was also confirmed.
Two members of the commission have already signed the report but it will be forwarded to the government within this month after one of the ailing members of the commission, ex-IG Abbas khan returns to Pakistan.
