170 suspected persons including foreigners arrested in twin cities

Police and law enforcing agencies in Rawalpindi and Islamabad have arrested 170 suspected persons, most of them tribals and foreigners. According to police sources, 115 suspected persons were arrested during the search operation in different areas of Rawalpindi and most the arrested persons are Afghanis or tirbals from Bajaur and Khyber Agency. Islamabad police arrested 35 suspected persons including a foreigner in raids on areas of Sabzi Mandi police station, Bara Kahu, Shalimaar and Margalla. The foreigner was making pictures of sensitive places at Margalla road. Investigation from the arrested persons about their identity, residence, activities and other related matters is continued. Karachi police arrested 3 suspected persons including a Saudi citizen.
