Partial CNG strike hits different cities

CNG station owners are protesting against the reduction in sale price.

 

Amid a stalemate between OGRA and CNG Association on the issue of CNG prices, private motorists and commuters using public transport faced great difficulties on Tuesday.

 

Most of the CNG stations remained closed for the second day to protest against CNG pricing formula.

 

In Numaish Chorangi area of Karachi, rickshaw drivers protested against unavailability of CNG.

 

In Lahore, owners of CNG stations closed down their outlets before time. Unannounced strike also irked passengers in Multan.

 

Faisalabad, Sargodha, Mianwali, Haripur are among the affected regions while in Balochistan, people are facing severe difficulties in Quetta and Jaffarabad.

 

CNG stations are also shut in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
