LHC adjourns President's dual offices case till Dec 5
The LHC has adjourned the hearing of President Zardari’s dual offices contempt case till December 5.
A five-member bench of the Lahore High Court headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial resumed hearing of President Asif Ali Zardari’s dual offices case on Wednesday.
During his remarks, Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial said that the court will give its ruling about the immunity of the President and then the further proceedings of the contempt of court case would be resumed.
He said that the request of delaying the proceedings would not be allowed next time and the hearing would be resumed on daily basis.
It is worth mentioning that counsel of the government Waseem Sajjad on Tuesday had requested the court to delay the proceedings.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 5.
