The toll of Indian fishermen being released from Malir jail this year has risen to 693.


Pakistani authorities released 15 Indian fishermen from district jail Malir on Sunday morning.

 

The toll of Indian fishermen released from Malir jail this year has risen to 693.

 

The fishermen were arrested over violation of sea territorial limits. Cases were registered against them under foreign and fisheries acts at Docks police station.

 

Jail Superintendent, Nazir Shah, said released fishermen left for Wagha border via bus from where they would be handed over to Indian security forces.
