Supreme Court is the final decision maker, says Chief Justice.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Tuesday resumed hearing of a petition pertaining to media’s role.During case proceeding, petitioner Sardar Ghazi’s counsel Raja Irshad alleged media of giving an impression as if there is conflict among the institutions following CJP’s address on Monday.Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said judiciary is not weak and it is taking the matters serious.Supreme Court is the final decision maker, he added.The chief justice summoned record of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) ‘press releases’ issued since May 2.He also sought President Asif Ali Zardari’s article posted in the Wall Street Journal.
