Senator Zahid Khan has demanded investigation against those who made Pakistan join Afghan war.

Talking to newsmen Wednesday, Zahid Khan said the Jihadi policy adopted by the then politicians and military men, led Pakistan to the verge of destruction in the form of religious hatred, trend of killings and curse of the use of narcotics.He said the proposed commission should identify those who made Pakistan a tool of the US when the USSR attacked Afghanistan, in the same manner as the Supreme Court looked to the Asghar Khan Case.In the history of Pakistan, ruin caused by Afghan war is second to the destruction caused by the fall of Dhaka, he maintained.Senator Zahid Khan also asked for severe punishment against those held responsible by the commission.
