Chiniot: Newspaper Hawkers Union leader killed

Unidentified persons tortured and killed Senior Vice President of Chiniot Newspaper Hawkers Union.

According to details, four unidentified persons entered house of the Senior Vice President of Chiniot Newspaper Hawkers Union, Ashraf Multani, in Muhalla Qazian area and subjected him to severe torture. The motive behind that attack is stated to be water dispute.The residents of the area reached the house of Ashraf Multani when the family raised alarm. The attackers managed to flee from the sight after the attack.Ashraf Multani was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. Chiniot Newspaper Hawkers Union has demanded DPO Chiniot to arrest the culprits behind the killing.
