Rimsha case: Court extends stay order till Oct 17

The IHC has extended the stay on the blasphemy trial against Rimsha Masih until Oct 17.

Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman heard a petition filed by Rimsha, seeking stay of blasphemy trial against her.During today’s hearing, a representative of the prosecution lawyer informed the court that the counsel was not present in Islamabad and subsequently requested the court for more time.The court, granting the prosecution’s request, extended the stay on the trial to Oct 17.
