At least 44 militants surrendered themselves to the security forces in Kanju area of Swat while an attempt of smuggling arms from Afghanistan to Bajaur was blocked. According to ISPR, four landmines were seized by the security forces in Shahdund Banda. Six militants surrendered themselves in Sangota area while 3 laid down their arms in Deolai. Eight militants were arrested in Imam Dheri and Choprial. Forty four militants surrendered themselves to security forces in Kanju.
