At least seven people, including ex-income tax commissioner, were killed in violence in Karachi.
Target killing continues in Karachi as seven more people were gunned down in different areas of the city in the past 24 hours.According to details, some unidentified gunmen shot dead a man in Napier area. The identity of the deceased is not yet known.Three students of North Nazimabad who were going to education board for submission of their admission forms were injured in firing by unknown people. One of them namely Umair succumbed to his injuries at hospital.In another incident, unidentified attackers gunned down former income tax commissioner Mumtaz Sheikh in Defence Phase IV.The incident occurred when Mumtaz Sheikh left his home for office. He was rushed to nearby hospital, but succumbed to his injuries. Mumtaz Sheikh was also a member of local government revenue.Meanwhile, a mutilated body was found in Orangi Town. The identity of the victim is not unknown who was killed in firing.Moreover, three more people were shot dead in separate incidents in different areas including Town, Manghopir, and Mirza Adam Khan Road.
