Punjab chief minister also attended the anti-dengue rally in Lahore.

Punjab is observing Anti-Dengue Day across the province including Lahore on Sunday to create awareness among the masses.All government departments, non-governmental organisations, universities, schools and colleges organized different programmes and seminars on breeding, prevention and cure of dengue.In this regard, all educational institutions including universities, colleges and schools remain opened and their heads monitored the activities.Posters and banners were displayed on prominent places in educational institutions and camps, and desks were set up at various places for distribution of pamphlets regarding dengue awareness. Moreover, seminars and workshops were being arranged in educational institutions with the help of master trainers and activities.On this anti-dengue day, Punjab chief minister shahbaz sharif said that all possible efforts were being made by the provincial government to control dengue.He joined the rally and distributed literature regarding dengue awareness among the masses at centre point in Lahore.Responding to a question, Shahbaz Sharif said his government had written three letters to Sindh government for cooperation in controlling dengue virus but no response has been received as yet.
