Power shortfall reaches 3782MW

Electricity shortfall has reached to 3782 megawatts while loadshedding continues.

Shortfall of electricity has increased and reached at 3,782 megawatt across the country while load shedding continues in Punjab and Lahore due to which consumers are facing great difficulties.According to Energy Management Cell, the production of electricity has decreased and reached at 13,482 MW while the demand of electricity is 17,214 MW.Owing to shortfall of electricity the power outage in Lahore is continuing on regular intervals.Meanwhile, small cities and villages are also victims of load shedding where the prolong power outage in night and day time has created a lot of problems for consumers.
