Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik on Sunday claimed that Fazlullah had been encircled by security forces while Mangal Bagh would also be arrested soon, adding that Muslim Khan and other detained Taliban commanders would be tried under anti-terrorism act. Talking to media in Islamabad, he said that Muslim Khan was providing important information about his companions and all militants would be eliminated through operation. The interior minister maintained that Mangal Baghs fate would be similar to the other militants. Rehman Malik urged the Khasadars to come back to their duties after withdrawal of resignations. Seven Maldives citizens arrested from FATA are being interrogated, he added. Commenting on Balochistan issue, Malik said that the prime minister would soon make an announcement to resolve Balochistans problems. He vowed to take stern action against those who closed down educational institutes in the province, adding that any student possessing arms would be considered as terrorist.
