Angry masses protest power outages

Citizens continue to protest against severe load shedding across the country.

Masses took to the streets in Urmar area of Peshawar to protest against the unannounced and prolonged hours of load shedding in the holy month of Ramazan on Wednesday.The angry mob blocked GT Road and chanted slogans against the government.Meanwhile, residents attacked LESCO office in Lahore, destroyed furniture and equipment of the office and burnt all the official record. Later, protesters were dispered on the arrival of the police. Similar protests were also seen in other provinces of the country.On the other hand, government has failed to end unscheduled load shedding in the country.
