Islamabad and Rawalpindi received rain in the early hours of the day.

Mercury dipped down as winds blew in federal capital and Rawalpindi last night, bringing respite from heat and humidity.According to met office, several areas including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Hazara, Malakand division, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan are likely to receive in the coming 24 hours.Maximum temperature was recorded at 47 degree centigrade in Turbat.Temperature in other major cities was recorded asIslamabad 40, Lahore 38, Faisalabad 41, Karachi 33, Quetta 37, Murree 27, Peshawar 42 and 40 degree Celsius in Muzaffarabad.
