Religious, political parties are freely displaying banners, posters at govt installations.
The government has imposed ban on the advertisements of banned religious out fits but one can see their posters, banners, pamphlets ever in the city, which speaks the volume of the government claims to eliminate violence in the city.Although the CDA’s by laws permit the advertiser to display their advertisements at roads for specific period of time but negligent behavior of the CDA has provided opportunity to advertisers to paste their banners and pamphlets in the residential area of the city, even they pasted banners on traffic sign boards.According to information, following the failure of the CDA to promulgate its by- laws in terms of advertisement display, all stake holders, who are involved in wall chalking and displaying banners, hording etc have speed up their advertisement campaign for taking advantage over each other.Signboards at all important roads, overhead bridges and flyover for the guidance of commuters and vehicular, are filled with posters, banners and pamphlets by the advertisers, causing inconveniences for tourists and traffic.Tourists are facing immense difficulties while traveling on Pir Sohawa and Daman-e- Koh roads due to excess of advertisements as the signboards on every road are filled with poster and banner.
