Army aviation chopper crashes, five martyred

An army helicopter crashed on Skirdo Airport where five members of rescue were martyred.

According to ISPR, Army Aviation’s MI-17 crashed when it caught fire during a training flight near Skirdo Airport. As a result, five people including two pilots died on the spot while two team members were injured.The injured were shifted to CMH Gamba, Skardu.Experts have launched investigation to know the cause of the incident.
