Punjab government has decided registration of case against doctors on strike under 16 MPO.

According to Dunya News, the Punjab government has taken this decision in order to discourage young doctors who are violating rule and regulations. If any doctor is arrested under this rule, no bail would be granted to him.This campaign would be commenced from Saturday. The government also has sought recommendations from the hospital management so that the routine work in hospital may be continued despite doctors’ strike.The provincial government also has ordered to review the pending files and Punjab Service Commission has started home work in this regard.According to sources, Army Medical Corps may be called if doctors go on complete strike.Punjab government also has ordered to deploy an SP in every hospital to discourage the doctors urging their companions on strike.
