No target killing in Karachi, says Qaim

Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday said currently there was no target killing in Karachi.

Presenting the four-year efficiency of the government in the Sindh Assembly, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that maintenance of law and order in a city with 20 million population was difficult.He said that the terrorist were well trained and they possessed more modern weapons than the police.Qaim said that operation was not launched in Lyari but only raids were carried out to control the violence.The Sindh CM said that the affected families of Lyari would be compensated for losses.He announced to give Rs 0.5 million each and jobs to the heirs of those killed in Lyari during the police action.
