The session of the Supreme Judicial Council is in progress in Islamabad. The session is to discuss PCO judges and the amendments in the code of conduct for judges. Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary is chairing the session while Justice Javed Iqbal, Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan, Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Tariq Pervaiz, Lahore High Court Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif and Supreme Court Registrar Dr Faqir Muhammad are also participating. A new condition included in the code of conduct for judges says that if any person abides by the orders of such ruler who comes into power through unconstitutional means, the act of the abider will be considered as misconduct.
